4th task: place the cut out onto the soap and cover with the gaze

Outcome: Any soap can be decoupaged, provided it isn’t too oily. The soap can be used although the picture will eventually come off. Decoupage soap makes great gifts.

976 miles away

we are both living in the different ends of the world
you live your own life and i live mine
if we ever run into each other one day
we might nod to one another, smile and say hi
then fall speechless
because we might no longer knew each other
as if it never happened
all i have in mind is that i...

" House of Joy "

Visited House of  Joy with WeeMei, Nicholas and LinEr's moral group yesterday. The house's condition is not what i have in mind before the visit. The place is filthy and the hygiene is bad. With water containers at the entrance, it's such a good mosquito breeding ground. We were greeted by a bunch of kids of all ages, we were all known as "gor gor" and "jie jie" to them. Heartache is felt, the kids condition is not that good...with traces of scratch scars here and there which is left untreated. The biggest problem that I personally think the house is lack of is proper education. From what we heard from a grown up residence of the house, they are not provided with proper education. They barely read and write, some even their own name. What can i do to help ?

A boy asked me..." This gor gor ( Nic ) cannot understand Chinese ? "...i said " yup "...then he replied..." I can't understand nor speak English and Bahasa "...in a sad tone.

What can one promised ? Who knows what is behind all those laughters ? Who can tell what is there the future can offer them ?

..................................................................................................

Although, there will always be a situation where there is a shortage of requirement from orphanages to provide care for the children. But among the orphanages i've been, House of Joy's condition is bad. I suppose we all leave the place with heavy heart...i do...
